Good morning and happy Sunday. We’re back home and getting back into our regular routine. As soon as we got home, I finished cutting and mailing my product shares (thank you for ordering y’all!). Then David and I worked on a stamping room refresh adding new and prettier storage to the my stamping spot. Between traveling and the stamping room refresh I didn’t get much creating done.
Fortunately, Stampin’ Up! has a solution to a lack of time which still allowed me to create. If you watched my live last Sunday (January 7, 2024) I talked about traveling with Paper Pumpkin. It’s a great way to grab a small box for your suitcase and still have everything you need to create cards. During that Iive (which wasn’t live due to a Facebook issue we think), I mentioned that I had ordered the Rock Legend Kit. My kit arrived Saturday and I couldn’t wait to create with it. Although the rest of the house is a little messy now while I decide where to relocate some of the items I moved out of the craft room, I’m happy to have my space put back together enough to create with the Rock Legend Kit.
For this kit there are eight cards total – four of each design. I really liked the vellum star and guitar pick cut outs. It made me think about how I could use vellum die cuts in other cards. I also tried to look at these predesigned cards as a sketch – what other suites would work with these sketches? I’m going to keep thinking about that. You might see some Rock Legend Kit inspired cards in future blog posts.
The kit contained everything needed to make the eight cards including envelopes with an inside design. The instructions are in pictures, so kits are easy for kids or adults to assemble. These cards have no inside sentiment which leaves plenty of room for a note to the recipient. Clearly the Happy Birthday card is birthday specific, but I think the You’re a Legend can be used for a variety of things. I will be using it as a thank you card to my Aunt and Uncle who I visited while in Chicago. They are legendary excellent hosts.
Thank you!

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
