A happy and blessed Sunday, y’all. Today’s card is a CASE (copy and share everything) of a card I saw recently online. For the life of me, though, I cannot recall which demonstrator I saw make this card. So, if that was you let me know so I can give you credit. Thank you.
I’m in the crunch to get all my Easter cards out before Easter. Truthfully, like Christmas, New Years and Valentine’s Day cards, I’m not all that concerned if they arrive by the date of the event because our mail here in North East Texas is slow, y’all. Like five days just to get across town slow. Because it has to go to the big city (Dallas) and make it’s way back this way.
If you’re in a similar boat, I think this card will put a smile on any recipient’s face. And it’s easy – so you can make a lot in just one sitting. So, address your envelopes and let’s get going!
First, I used Basic White Thick for the card base. I cut a panel of Basic White at 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the front panel. I added a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of the brand new 2024 – 2026 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper in Shy Shamrock to the front panel with liquid glue. I already love the patterns in this DSP. I then used the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes circle die to cut a circle in the panel. Save that DSP covered circle for another project.
I used the Double Oval Punch, a 2-3/8″ circle punch and the smallest Stylish Shapes circle die to create the magic. I cut two of the larger, scalloped edge oval from Basic White and two smaller ovals from the 2024 – 2026 In Color DSP in Pretty In Pink. To make it easy to cut the smaller oval and avoid waste, I cut a 1″ x 6″ strip of the DSP and cut the two bunny feet. As an aside, I learned something very interesting while I was writing this blog – bunnies do not have paw pads like other mammals which makes them susceptible to injury.
Back to the card – I used the 2-3/8″ Circle Punch to cut the body piece and the smallest Stylish Shapes Circle Die for the bunny tail. With a sponge dauber, I added Crumb Cake ink to the edges of all the bunny pieces for some definition. I adhered the DSP inside foot to the scalloped oval with liquid glue. I used the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and embossed the feet, tail and body pieces.
I placed Stampin’ Seal on the inside bottom left of the card panel and adhered the 2-3/8″ circle inside the panel. I added the smallest circle to the top of the body with liquid glue. For the paws, I used a Stampin’ Dimensional at the top of the paw and liquid glue at the bottom and adhered the paws to the body. At this point, add any embellishments you desire to jazz up your bunny.
I used a blending brush and the crumb cake ink to blend on the Basic White Thick card base under the circle cut out, then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front card panel and adhered it to the card base. For the inside of the card, I used a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pretty In Pink 2024-2025 In Color DSP as a mat and a 3-3/4″ x 5″ Basic White panel. I stamped the corner with a partial Enduring Beauty floral image and colored it using Stampin’ Blends – light and dark Pretty In Pink, light and dark Old Olive – and a Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker (note to self – order Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blends). I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the sentiment panel to the 2024 – 2026 In Color Designer Series Paper mat and adhered the matted panel to the card base.
I cut a 2-1/4″ x 6″ piece of the 2024 – 2026 In Color 6 X 6 DSP in Pretty in Pink for the envelope flap and adhered it with liquid glue before trimming with my paper snips. I then stamped the front of the card with the trio of flower buds from the Enduring Beauty Stamp Set. I added a piece of window sheet to prevent bleed through and colored the buds with light Peach Pie, light Pretty in Pink and light Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends.
That’s it for today’s card. Tonight’s t pm Central live cardmaking video will show some new products that arrived this week as well as a quick make of this card. I hope you can join me on either Facebook or YouTube. For advance planning, please note that I will not have a recorded cardmaking class next Sunday, March 31, due to the Easter holiday.

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
