Today the blog writers are working with a sketch challenge.

I turned the sketch on the side and then added my sentiment. I used a Blueberry Bushel base and added strips of Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper arranged on a Berry Burst panel. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel to the card base.

My Celebrate sentiment is from Happy Little Things Stamp Set and is stamped using Blueberry Bushel ink on Berry Burst cardstock. I added a double bow of Linen Thread behind the sentiment.

Instead of using Stampin’ Dimensionals I stacked two strips of 1/2″ wide scrap cardstock glued together and applied the cardstock to the back of the sentiment on either side of the Linen Thread. This helped lift the sentiment to accommodate the Linen Thread knot. I learned not too long ago that a stack of 5 strips of cardstock is approximately the height of a Stampin’ Dimensional. When I want to raise something, but not fully the Stampin’ Dimensional height, I use stacked cardstock and adhere it to the panel I’m raising.

For the inside panel, I had an extra piece of cut DSP, so I added that to the Basic White Cardstock panel with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

For the envelope, I took the remaining piece of DSP and adhered it to the envelope flap. I stamped the front of the card with Berry Burst and Blueberry Bushel inked diamonds.
