Hello y’all! Thanks for stopping by my blog today on the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. Today we have a sketch to work with. I used the stunning Nature’s Sweetness Suite to make my card for today.
Here is today’s sketch:
I love that this suite has two stamp and die bundles in it – the Lovely & Sweet Bundle and the Notes of Nature Bundle. The designer series paper in Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Gold and Basic White is just amazing. So lovely!! I love a neutral palette.
I started with a card base in Pebbled Path and added Gold foiled designer series paper to the front of the card. I cut a Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper in Pebbled Path 1-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and a 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ square of white. I fancied up the edges of the white DSP square using the detailed corner of the Very Best Trio Punch. I adhered the Pebbled Path DSP behind the white DSP with liquid glue. I then cut three of the Notes of Nature Dies long leaves/vines using the Pecan Pie, White and Pebbled Path DSP papers. I trimmed them to fit the card and adhered them to the white DSP and adhered it all to the card front with liquid glue.
I used the Lovely & Sweet dies to cut the Almond plant from the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper. I placed a lot of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the die cut and adhered it to the front of the card. To finish the front of the card, I used three (two small, one large) of the FREE Sale-A-Bration Opaque Faceted Gems in Pecan Pie. I almost didn’t get them, but I’m glad I did now. They’re such beautiful, sparkly gems.
For the inside panel I cut a 5-1/4″ x 4″ mat of Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper in Pebbled Path and a Basic White sentiment panel at 5″ x 3-3/4″. I stamped the sentiment in full strength Pecan Pie in the upper center of the of the panel. I stamped the Lovely & Sweet stamp set almond tree in Pecan Pie ink, stamped off twice, on the right side of the sentiment panel. I stamped the Lovely & Sweet stamp set small texture stamp in Pebbled Path, stamped off twice, several times over the almond tree.
For the envelope flap, I used another piece of Nature’s Sweetness designer series paper cut to 2-1/4″ x 6″. I adhered it with liquid glue to the flap of the envelope. I stamped the Notes of Nature stamp set squares texture stamp on the front of the envelope in Pecan Pie, stamped off twice. I then used the Notes of Nature stamp set again and stamped the Field Notes stamp on the front of the envelope over the texture stamp using Pebbled Path ink, stamped off twice. I do realize that I used the Field Notes stamp upside down, but I’m sticking with it this time. 🙂
Thank you!

Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
