Hello and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m so glad you stopped by today.
Today the team is working with a color challenge
Seriously, I can’t believe it’s May already. Did you do a little shopping yesterday? I sure did. Although demonstrators get to preorder from every catalog, we only get a limited selection from the annual catalog. I’ve had my eye on a few things that weren’t pre-orderable, so I ordered them yesterday.
Today’s card is a simple one and I know you will be able to make it, too. I used the Planted Paradise stamp set to create a small plant arrangement. This is a reversible pohotpolymer stamp set, but I did not do any reverse stamping today.
Sometimes I want accurate color representation in my cards, but today I chose to go color rogue with some Boho Blue, Smoky Slate and Mossy Meadow (well, that’s not rogue) plants. My planter is Copper Clay ink on Copper Clay cardstock. There are no coordinating dies for the Planted Paradise Stamp Set, but most of the images are quite easy to fussy cut.
As you can probably see, I made my own Boho Blue stamped background using two of the larger Planted Paradise Stamp Set leaves. I simply put them on the same block, inked my stamp in Boho Blue ink and turned the stamp each time I reinked.
My Smoky Slate layer is dry embossed using the new Eyelet 3D embossing folder found in the 2024 – 2025 Annual Catalog. The container of plants is adhered to the embossed cardstock with liquid glue, then added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added three Smoky Slate Pearls to the panel as well.
I stamped the Planted Paradise butterfly five times on the Smoky Slate inside panel and then adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat. I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the inside panel to the card base.
For the envelope, I used the same stamping technique as I used with the Boho Blue panel. For the front of the envelope, I stamped a small vase in Copper Clay ink. I used a sticky note as a mask to cover the planter and stamped the trio of leaves in Mossy Meadow ink.
I invite you to become a Stamp With Nel email insider. Be the first to hear about upcoming crafty events, subscriber only specials, new blog posts, weekly Stampin’ Up! news and special edition news as it happens!

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
Shop my online store here.
