Good morning and a happy and blessed Sunday, crafty friends.
Today’s card is one that I don’t like to make. My late husband’s mother had a stroke this week and went to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon, so I know I will need sympathy cards for her six living children and my children.
I turned to the catalog for help in making this card and CASEd a sample shown with the Unbounded Beauty Suite on page 53 of the 2024 – 2025 Annual Catalog. There is a bit of fussy cutting in the sample card which I choose not to do. Instead, I stamped a little and used the dies for the focal cluster.
You are likely aware that faith is particularly important to me. My faith gives me courage at the time of sorrow and in times of struggle. Frankly, faith got me through the sudden stroke and passing of my husband in 2013. It is a part of my everyday life. My late husband’s family are also believers, so faith is the focus of my card.
I chose to use a Basic White panel inside even though the card is white. For sympathy cards specifically I want the message I write inside to be well worded, so I use a panel and adhere it after writing the message.
The Unbounded Beauty Suite is new in the 2024 Annual Catalog and contains most of the products you will need to make this card: the Flowers of Beauty Bundle, Unbounded Love Bundle, Unbounded Beauty 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, 2024 – 2026 In Color Glimmer 12″ x 12″ Glimmer Specialty Paper and 2024 – 2026 In Color Resin Dots. It is currently out of stock and expected to be back in stock on May 13, 2024.

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
