Hello and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop. Our goal today is to express Spring in any way we desire. I saw Heidi Collins with On Y Go Stamping make these adorable bunnies last week and immediately made this card for y’all. Happy Easter!
Faith is part of who I am. My card represents both the kid me who loves the Easter Bunny tradition and the adult me who is grateful for His grace and mercy.
These three little bunnies are made using the Bee Builder Punch and a flower for the cotton tail. I used a Pool Party mat and added a piece of Delightful Floral designer series paper in the center of the panel. I used the dotted Basics 3D Embossing Folder to emboss a panel of Basic White which I adhered to the bottom third of the Pool Party mat. I added Stampin’ Seal to the back of the card panel and adhered White 1/2″ Iridescent Ribbon (retired) to the card.
For the three bunnies, I used the Bee Builder Punch and punched a bee body in Basic White, Pecan Pie and Basic Gray. I cut the stinger off with Paper Snips. I stamped the ears in Pecan Pie, Basic Gray and Bubble Bath (on white), the used the punch to cut them out. I adhered the ears to the Easter Bunny body with liquid glue. To complete the bunny body, I stamped a flower in the same ink as the ears on White and fussy cut the flowers with paper snips. I adhered the bunny tails to the body with small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals, then adhered the bunnies to the card base with liquid glue. I blinged up the card front with three Lemon Lolly Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
For the inside sentiment, I adhered Adhesive Sheets to a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and die cut the word RISEN using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies. I drew a very light pencil line on the card about 2-1/2″ from the top so that I could adhere the sentiment on straight. I started with the S in the center then added the R and N at the outer edges before finishing with the I and E. I felt this method of adhering the letters gave me the best spacing. Below RISEN, I stamped The Best Day Ever sentiment from the Happy Little Things Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape ink.
For the inside panel decoration, I used the Bee Builder Punch again to punch a bee body, trimming off the stinger. The bee body now becomes an easter egg with the addition of three thin strips of Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia cardstock adhered to the egg with liquid glue. I trimmed the cardstock stripes with paper snips and adhered the decorated egg to the sentiment panel with liquid glue. I adhered the sentiment panel to the Pool Party mat with Stampin’ Seal, then adhered the matted panel to the card base with liquid glue.
To decorate the envelope flap, I adhered a piece of Delightful Floral designer series paper to the flap with liquid glue, then trimmed with paper snips. For the front of the envelope, I stamped a Smoky Slate bunny stamping off twice for the body and ears and once for the bunny tail.

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
