Hello and welcome to my Tuesday blog. I hope you had a relaxing long weekend. Or are you returning to the work week to relax from a busy week?
Today’s card is a card I used recently for a swap. Note to self, when doing a swap, maybe cutting 13 hearts per card is a bit much LOL.

Sometimes fun fold cards can be intimidating, but this fun fold card is quite easy to make. I enjoy that it gives me some extra layering potential.
I used Lost Lagoon Cardstock for this card, but I’ve also made it in Pool Party Cardstock. My color palette is directly from the Designer Series Paper. For me, DSP makes picking colors so easy – the work is already done for me.
I used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder for the front Basic White Cardstock panel.
I Stamped the badger couple from the Hearts & Hugs Stamp Set, then colored the badger couple with Stampin’ Blends – Pebbled Path and Crumb Cake – using the dark around the edges and the light to fill in the inside. I used the Hearts & Hugs Dies to die cut the badger couple.
Since Stampin’ Blends will bleed through the cardstock, I used the Hearts & Hugs Dies to die cut a second Badger in Basic White Cardstock and adhered it to the back to cover the bleed through. I added 13 hearts in three colors to the front of the card with adhesive. I selected the colors of the hearts from the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.
I adhered the Exposed Brick 3D embossed Basic White Cardstock to the front flip up panel and adhered the panel to the back of the Lost Lagoon Cardstock base with adhesive.

I added a panel of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series paper to the front of the Lost Lagoon Cardstock base with adhesive.
I placed the smaller Basic White Cardstock panel on the card front, making sure it was hidden completely by the front flap before permanently adhering.
I added a Mossy Meadow Cardstock flower stem die cut from the Hearts & Hugs Dies. My flowers are cut with the Hearts & Hugs Dies from the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ Designer Series paper. I used a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the center of each flower.
For the inside panel, I the 3/4″ x 4″ strip cut from the Thoughtful Journey DSP earlier to decorate the corner and added another heart just for fun. I stamped the Hearts & Hugs Stamp Set sentiment with Lost Lagoon Ink on the panel, then adhered it to the card base with adhesive.

I used the remaining piece of my Thoughtful Journey DSP to decorate my envelope. Although it’s 1/4″ smaller than the flap, centering it or bringing it to the bottom and trimming to fit works great. I used almost the entire piece of the beautiful Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper. I had just a few 3/4″ scraps left over – which would work for a flower die cut or two.
Thank you!

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
