Hello and welcome to Thursday! It’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Day – my favorite day of the week. You might have arrived here from Carol’s blog or maybe you’re starting with me. However you arrived at my little corner of the internet, thanks for stopping by.

Today’s blog is a color challenge:

Normally I try to include all the colors, but this time around I picked three – Petal Pink, Pecan Pie and Pool Party. I guess I liked the ‘P’ colors 🙂
I found this really fun card made by Linda Schnabel on Pinterest. I love the idea of a cutout center. Since making this card, I’ve received one similar with a different center shape. I might have to CASE that one, too.

I used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the circles in this card after gluing the A Little Latte 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to the card base around the edges only.

I used the Pool Party Cardstock circle that was cut out from the front on my center fold. The Friends For Life Dies hearts are die cut from the back side of the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper I used on the front. There are two heart Friends For Life Dies which cut four hearts. I used three of them to decorate the smaller Pecan Pie circle.

I die cut the large Friends For Life Dies heart and attached it with liquid glue to the inside card base. I stamped the Friends for Life Stamp Set sentiment on Petal Pink Cardstock with VersaMark Ink and used white embossing powder and the heat tool to create the heat embossed sentiment. I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the sentiment to the heart.

For the envelope, I used the same pattern of A Little Latte designer series paper on the envelope flap. On the front of the envelope, I used the Friends for Life Stamp Set stamp in Petal Pink Ink, stamped off once, and then stamped the Friends for Life Stamp Set hearts in Pool Party Ink.

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
