Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Day! It’s also a very special day for me as today is my daughter’s birthday.
Today for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Day we have a sketch
My daughter’s favorite color is green, so I chose Shaded Spruce for her card. I started with a card base and front panel of Shaded Spruce. For the front panel, I dry embossed using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
I used the Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper on the front of the card. This is the same piece of paper, just flipped.
I used White Embossing Powder and heat embossed the front sentiment strip with a simple Happy Birthday from the Something Fancy Stamp Set.
For the inside of the card, I stamped a single leaf from the large Leaf Collection Stamp Set. I used a sponge dauber to add the ink to the stamp so I could stamp the single stem of leaves.
I’m working on shaking up my envelope flaps. I really like adding strips to the flap, especially when I have a limited amount of the DSP. These strips are 3/8″, but I’ve gone as small as 1/4″ when I have only scraps to work with.
For the front of the card, I inked up one edge of the Leaf Collection Stamp Set and stamped about 1″ of the left side of the envelope.

Retired Stampin’ Up! Products
My online Stampin’ Up! retired product store has been refreshed with additional products. I will be adding more retired products as I come across them. I have a variety of stamps, dies and embellishments. My stamps and dies are all gently used and most were purchased within the last two years (although some may be “vintage”). Dies might be on magnet cards as I did not start saving the original packaging until just recently. Designer Series Paper and embellishments are new in unopened packages unless otherwise stated.
Due to Stampin’ Up! policies, I can only ship to U. S. addresses.
