Hello and a happy and blessed Sunday to y’all. Thank you for sharing part of your day with me.

As I noted last week, I have two more patriotic pieces for you. Today’s post is a card made with DSP and using an embossing folder, then Tuesday I’ll have a treat box for you that will hold a heat stable treat. On Sunday June 30 at 6 pm Central you can watch the live demonstration of the treat box creation on YouTube.
For this card I a few Designer Series Papers. For the flag I used the Night of Navy from Mediterranean Blooms and a Real Red design from Flowering Zinnias. I arranged each element on a field of Basic White before embossing the panel with the So Swirly Embossing Folder.

I added seven Iridescent Faceted Gems to the front panel because they have a lovely starry center.
I adhered the flag panel to a slightly larger mat of Real Red Cardstock with liquid glue. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the matted panel to the front of the Night of Navy card base.

For the inside panel, I used the Happy Little Things Stamp Set sentiment and diamonds at the top. I did try to wave my “celebrate” ever so slightly.
I used the striped Night of Navy paper from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack, the striped Cherry Cobbler paper from the Regals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack and the Alphabet A La Mode Dies to die cut the July 4 at the bottom of my card. I added Adhesive Sheets to the back of the paper scraps to make application easier on my Basic White Panel.

For the envelope, I used the same DSP I used for the front of the card, cutting the Night of Navy pieces at 3/4″ x 6″ and the Real Red piece at 1/2″ x 6″ and trimming them to fit with paper snips.

For the front of the envelope, I used the Light The Sky Stamp Set small burst and stamped it three times in Daffodil Delight ink.
I’m sending off all my patriotic cards today and hoping they make it before July 4. Even if they don’t, I’m sure the recipient will still enjoy the card.
